Meet Our Team
Dr. Gary Banner
I was born and raised in Gilroy. I attended Gavilan College and San Jose State University where I studied Biological Sciences. After, I moved to Southern California where I received my dental degree from Loma Linda University in 1992. Since my father, Dr. Alden Banner, was already practicing dentistry in Gilroy for many years, I joined him in his practice in 1992.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, playing the piano and spending it with my family.
Hygienist: Amanda Bettencourt
I was born and raised in Gilroy and attended local schools. I graduated from Cabrillo College Hygiene Program in 2012. I have been a member of Dr. Banner's team since 2014 when I began tempting. In my free time, I enjoy riding horses and spending time with friends and family.
Hygienist: Ruth-Ellen Ferreira
Before graduating top of my class from foothill dental hygiene school in 1994, I worked as a chair side dental assistant and as an office manager. I've covered many aspects of dentistry from children's dentistry, oral and periodontal surgery, and general dentistry. In my spare time, I teach yoga, hike, bike and hang out with friends and family .

Allison has recently started working at Banner Associates, the ever expanding office continues to grow with each generation of patients we hope to have her at this practice for many more years to come.
